  • Judi, you may remember me (school photo class 2, 1946).  I am a friend of Sheila Clarke’s and we live in the same village of Steeple Morden.  Sheila was very thrilled to hear of your comments and surprised that you now live in New Zealand.  Sheila does not have email but she would love to hear from you.   Perhaps you could add further comments or even a page with memories of your life in Meldreth and your times with Sheila.

  • It’s 12.30 am and I couldnt sleep so for some reason I opened this site (for the first time) and what memories and a wealth of information it provides. I attended the village school from 1946-1951 after which I attended Cambs High for girls. I remember everyone in the 1948 photo; my best friend was Sheila Clarke. I shall be visiting this site often from now on. Many thanks Judi Exton. New Zealand.
