Meldreth Veg Club was formed in 2009 for interested vegetable gardeners. We meet every couple of months in members' gardens to share expertise and know-how and to swap plants, seeds and seedlings. It's very informal and fun. In the winter we pore over catalogues and share all our good intentions for the coming year.  

The Group was renamed Veg Club Plus in March 2013 in order to reflect the fact that it is now open to all villagers who are interested in gardening; not just those who “grow their own”.

We try to meet every two months and we alternate the times as either 10.00am or 5.00/6.00pm, and the days as either Wednesday or Saturday. This is to avoid excluding those who find particular days or times difficult. This is an experiment to see how it goes, and is not written in stone.

We’ve had some very good meetings this year and have added a further bonus: swapping jams and chutneys, especially nice to do in the winter. Anyone who wants to join is most welcome. For further information, please contact the following:
