Meldreth Local History Group welcomes new members. Membership is free and all members receive newsletters about the Group’s events and projects.
Pre-COVID19, the Group met at the Sheltered Housing Community Room, Elin Way, Meldreth SG8 6LX on the first and third Mondays of every month. At the meetings, group members discussed different topics or projects they were interested in or working on, taking the opportunity to share information and discuss ideas. These meetings were open to anyone with a knowledge of or willingness to help record the history of Meldreth.
How You Can Help
Hopefully we will be able to resume these meetings but in the meantime, group members are working from home and there is no shortage of work to be done! Available tasks include adding information to the website, conducting interviews, editing audio files, transcribing documents or researching an aspect of the village's history. You can also support us by purchasing merchandise.
