Meldreth Matters was started by Ann Barnes in 1988 and has been published on a monthly basis ever since. It started life as little more than a village diary, on one sheet of A4 paper and is now produced as an A5 booklet, frequently running to over 40 pages.
The magazine is distributed free of charge to all homes and businesses in Meldreth shortly before the beginning of each month. Contributions to the magazine are welcomed and the copy deadline is 12th of each month. Contributions may be emailed or delivered to the Editor, Kathryn Betts, at 36 North End, Meldreth, Cambridgeshire SG8 6NT.
The Meldreth Matters team are all volunteers and the magazine relies on advertising revenue to pay for the printing costs. New advertisers are welcome. For further details or to place an advertisement, please email Beverley Cottrell or contact her on (01763) 262176.
