Meldreth is well served by local shops:

One Stop and Post Office, 80 High Street, SG8 6LA

A good, well-stocked general stores selling a variety of groceries and a limited supply of fresh produce. Magazines and newspapers are also available. The shop is open from 7.00am to 10.00pm daily.  The Post Office counter is also open every day until 2.00pm.

Fieldgate Nurseries, 32 Station Road, SG8 6JP

Established in 1969, this farm shop selling a large range of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, groceries, greetings cards, fresh flowers and pet/bird food and supplies.

Cam Valley Orchards Farm Shop, 25 Whitecroft Road, Meldreth SG8 6ND

This seasonal farm shop was established in 1968 and sells the full fruit range of all the varieties grown by Cam Valley Orchards.  It is open from August to February from Thursday to Saturday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Bury Lane Farm Shop, A10, Meldreth SG8 6DF

A family-run flower farm and farm shop with cafe, garden shop, gift hall and children’s fun barn providing quality foods, fun times for families, freshly prepared meals and fabulous, friendly service.

Additional shops including a Co-op are located in the neighbouring village of Melbourn. Royston is three miles away and has a number of supermarkets and independent shops and there are excellent shopping facilities in Cambridge, about ten miles away.
